What Types of Tests are Used?

Testing can involve paper-and-pencil tasks, puzzles and putting things together, and various types of problem-solving tasks. We begin with a set of tests that are aimed at addressing your concerns and goals, but sometimes add other tests to further explore areas that need additional understanding. Rating scales and questionnaires about social, emotional, and behavior functioning or about attention and organization are also given to you to complete. For testing with children, often parents or caregivers and teachers are also asked to complete these rating scales and questionnaires.
