Attendance at School Team Meetings

Dr. Greene is available to attend school special education Team meetings to review and share clinical findings and recommendations with those teachers and providers working with the child based on the completion of the child’s neuropsychological assessment. She is also available to accompany parents to meetings outside the Team meeting process with school- and district-based administrators to determine and facilitate the implementation of appropriate services. 

Dr. Greene’s experience as an educational consultant over the years has afforded her the opportunity to  both review thousands of Individual Education Programs (IEPs) and gain an understanding of state and federal special education laws and regulations. As a result, she is able to participate collaboratively in the special education Team process and work with parents and school district Team members to assess and recommend appropriate services. 

In the case that consensus cannot be reached by  parents and school staff at the school district Team meeting level and matters are not resolved, Dr. Greene also has experience and is available to participate in a more formal problem-resolution process with mediators, attorneys, and hearing officers overseeing due process procedures.
