Intake Interview

Intake interview: 

During an intake interview, we meet for an extended conversation about your questions, concerns, and goals for the evaluation. I gather information about your medical, developmental, educational, social, emotional, behavioral, and work history. This includes any relevant history of family members, presence of absence of developmental milestones, psychosocial history, and character, severity, and progress of any history of complaints. I can then gauge if and how historical determinants affect current behavior and reported questions and concerns.
